Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician is best known for her role in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Annayum's Rasoolum, her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam and Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is an assistant researcher from Belgium who has a job in Leuven. Jeremiah has a family near Chennai She went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She also worked as professional theatre performers in the university. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's theatre career began by performing with actor Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was featured in a leo coffee commercial in 2006 with the actor Shiva in the year 2006. She also acted in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. Her performances have been all over India. She had a small role as a guest in Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon wanted Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man who has a love affair. Andrea won the role of Kalyani following auditions. Simran Shobana, Tabu as well as other actors were asked to audition for the role. The film was first released in 2010. She agreed in 2011 to take on a small acting role as a support in Venkatprabhu's film Mankatha and it was came out in August 2011. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
