Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1960) is an American author and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. Wiehl is she is a Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985 she received her Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was she was a US attorney. She worked as an NPR legal reporter. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." She was tenured professor of legal studies in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
