Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing at the age of 14 led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude, where she earned the B.F.A. from the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. She was part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp also has other projects which she's working on alongside her projects for screen and stage. Sharp performs and is in the process of putting together a full length album. Sharp she is frequently either in front of or behind the camera or in the recording studio to record music, is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a lengthy road trips. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
