Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially by the shadows she saw on the grass of trees, she worked for months in developing a process that didn't depict the subject in a 2-dimensional image. Instead, the object is transformed into a reproduction of itself, where the surface is the vehicle for its individual interpretation of the subject, particularly in the case of living or perishable items for example, like humans or fruits. The ephemeral nature of her art style is apparent and what remains of Alexa Meade's work is the photographs. Painting and photography are closely coordinated to create an unflattering two-dimensional space that is trompe l'oeil. Certain places the three-dimensional space can be seen, for example, close to the eyes or in the hair. Meade often blends her painted characters in the 3D world that surrounds the figures. They are able to interact with the self-created world. This eliminates the distinctions between painting, photography and installation.
